Meet Aluminum Tank Cover

When using storage tanks, the control of emissions is an important factor. High emissions can increase air pollution and drive up costs. An aluminium cover or roof can serve to protect the stored product as well as reducing emissions and reducing costs.
An aluminium internal floating roof in a storage tank serves to control emissions. A floating roof can minimise or completely remove the vapour zone above the liquid stored in the tank. The installation of the floating roof therefore reduces emissions and evaporative losses of storage products, or eliminates them completely. Also less corrosive or oxidizing elements are produced in the tank when removing the vapour zone from the fixed roof storage tanks. As a result there is less air pollution and long term cost savings. An aluminium internal floating roof can be full contact, which removes the vapour zone entirely, or pontoon, which minimises the zone.

An aluminium geodesic dome is a self-supporting cover, usually used in refineries and tank farms. In such cases the product being stored and the structural tank components must be protected from the atmosphere and the environment. At the same time, hazardous vapour emissions must be minimised, and water prevented from entering the storage tanks. The aluminium cover and dome can be used for both new tanks and retrofit projects.

An aluminium oil water separator cover is used to reduce the VOC emissions from API separators in industrial plants and waste water treatment plant. An aluminium flat cover is designed to cover large spans, in order to minimise vapour zone above the stored liquid. The flat cover reduces the odour and evaporative losses of any products stored, resulting in reduced air pollution and long term cost savings.
