What is geodesic dome and for what does it serve?

The aluminum dome or geodesic dome or perhaps better known as aluminum geodesic dome. Like also the name tells, it is one type of structure that is fabricated with aluminum and that is used fundamentally in industries like refinery.

Particularly, is can be established that it is a cover that has the following identified caracters:
  • Triangular design and it is selfsupported
  • It is used for the protection of a content of tanks on the diverse climatológical, environmental or athmospheric conditions
  • Thank you for it the water does not get in to the content
  • It helps, similarly, the geomestic dome to avoid the posibility that it would produce certain toxic or dangerous vapor emissions  from the inside of the correspondent tank.

¿Qué es y para qué sirve el domo geomésico?

Aluminum dome o dome aluminum son las otras denominaciones que recibe lo que, de manera más habitual, se conoce como domo geomésico. Este podemos decir que es un tipo de estructura que está fabricada con aluminio y que se usa fundamentalmente en industrias tales como refinerías.

En concreto, podemos establecer que es una cubierta que tiene las siguientes señas de identidad:
  • Dispone de un diseño triangular y es autoportante.
  • Se usa para conseguir proteger el contenido de los tanques de las diversas condiciones climatológicas, ambientales o atmosféricas que tienen lugar en el exterior de aquellos.
  • Gracias a ella se logra que el agua no penetre en el contenido.
  • Ayuda, de igual modo, el domo geomésico a evitar que se pueda producir lo que sería la emisión de vapores de cierta toxicidad o peligrosidad desde el interior del correspondiente tanque.

What is the separator of oil?
